German Language School of Marin!
Founded in 1967, The German Language School of Marin in Novato, California, is a Saturday morning German language school committed to furthering the study and use of the German language. We provide students with better access to the customs, history, and culture of German-speaking countries. Our German classes are available not only for families with children, but also for adults interested in learning German. German Book Sale Fundraiser this Saturday, January 28!
We are excited to announce oue first book sale, this Saturday, January 28 during school hours (from 9:30-noon). We invite you to join us this Saturday at our school for this free and and fun event.
Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, family, and book donations! Refreshments will be provided in the cafe area and our volunteer staff will be on hand to help you.
Join us this Saturday to:
- Choose from our wide selection of German books for sale - everything's $1!
- Bring any books you want to donate to our school.
- Have a cup of coffee, goodies, and conversation!
Here are three reasons why you should participate:
- Convenient opportunity to donate your gently-used German language books to a good cause.
- All funds raised will go directly to building our library.
- Your participation promotes German literacy and reading in your community!

The second semester has started! Be sure to come by the cafe this Saturday to register if you haven't yet. We encourage you to come by our office by 9:15am to ensure a quick and easy process. If you're new to our school, it's not too late to join! We'll see you Saturday.
San Rafael Stammtisch meets February 9.
Our Stammtisch event is a great place to meet, socialize, and practice German. We have themed conversation starters, German games, and fun interactions for all levels of German speakers. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend!

- When: Thursday, February 9 from 6-8pm
- Where: Panera Bread at the Northgate Mall in Terra Linda

Our success depends on the families and students in our community for growth. We encourage you to be a participant in making German language instruction possible.
Join our volunteer team - even if you only have a few hours each semester. A good spirit and a strong desire to give back to the community are all that it takes to get started!
