German Language School of Marin!
Founded in 1967, The German Language School of Marin in Novato, California, is a Saturday morning German language school committed to furthering the study and use of the German language. We provide students with better access to the customs, history, and culture of German-speaking countries. Our German classes are available not only for families with children, but also for adults interested in learning German. Celebrate the end of the school year with us!
The last day of school is Saturday, May 19. Our traditional Abschlussfeier (end of year celebration) will take place in the multi-purpose hall of Marin Christian Academy (at New Life Christian Center).
Class is in session 9:30-10:30am. Parents and guests can join us for coffee and goodies during class hours. Presentations by the students begin at 10:30am. Presentations are followed by a potluck picnic.
Everyone is welcome.
We will provide assorted German sausages, bread, condiments, and beverages. Side dishes, salads, and dessert will be contributed by attendees.
- Last names starting A-M, please bring a salad/side dish.
- Last names starting N-Z, please bring a dessert/goodie.
Students are free! Guests: $8 adults / $5 children (12 and under). If you ordered sausages - don't forget that they will be available for pick-up on Saturday as well.

Stammtisch events continue through May and the summer break!
Our Stammtisch event is a great place to meet, socialize, and practice German. We have themed conversation starters, German games, and fun interactions for all levels of German speakers. Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend!
Join us every fourth Tuesday at Aqus Cafe in Petaluma and every second Thursday at Panera bread in San Rafael. Be sure to check our calendar for exact dates and times. We'll see you there!
