The School is administered by a Board of Directors consisting of the Principal and a minimum of six volunteer members elected annually by the General Membership. In addition to running the School, the Board Members schedule special events and take care of other pertinent matters to the School.

General Membership

All parents of enrolled children and all adult students of the German Language School of Marin are members of the Corporation and eligible to vote for and serve on the Board of Directors. Members are:

• required to attend the General Membership Meeting; and,
  
  
• asked to attend as many School functions as possible; and,
  
  
• to support the School by serving on its Board for at least one year, by making suggestions for improvement, by rendering assistance in arranging special events, and by helping the Board in carrying out its responsibilities, and;
  
  
• required to sign up for recess duty.
